The mining skill is initially obtained by reading a Mining Manual purchased from a blacksmith. You will also need a Pickaxe which can be purchased from a blacksmith as well. The more raw materials you mine, the higher your mining skill will be; you will be able to mine better items and mine faster as your skill increases. Raw materials can be mined from rocks found in underground locations. These raw materials are used primarily with the manufacturing skill. Materials can be mined from rocks found in the underground areas. You have to be at least level 20 to enter the underground, the monsters down are strong and get stronger as you go deeper.
